I have just started collecting data for the second part of COGSIMO, my post-doc project. This time, I will focus on two groups (a control group including non-interpreting M.A. students at IFA and a group of Year One trainees participating in the Conference Interpreting Programme). The rest of the data (professional interpreters working on the Polish market and graduates of the Conference Interpreting Programme) will be collected in 2010 and 2011.

For the last three days I have participated in a workshop for conference interpreting trainers run by two interpreters from the European Commission. The course was intensive and gave ample opportunities to exchange ideas and discuss all things didactic.
